My name is Ntombi Phangela. I live in, Meyerton, Vereeniging and work at Magalelagase Primary in Wattville, Benoni. I started my primary schooling in Daveyton and obtained my matric certificate at Davey High school. I proceed to further my studies at FET College called Isidingo Technical College in Daveyton and obtained NTC N3 and motor mechanics certificate in 1998. I started working as an administrator at Vosloorus Comprehensive School. there after worked at different institutions ranging from primaries, secondary and adult centre on the temporal bases. I was appointed at Magalelagase Primary in 2007 as a foundation phase teacher.
I register with Wits University in June 2008 for Advanced Certificate in Education and graduated in September 2010. I am currently in the second year of BEd Hons. with WitsUniversity.
Studying has enhanced my professional performance at school. I have developed various skills of teaching and ways of dealing with situations that emerges in education. I am applying skills and knowledge that I have learned during my lessons. It is true that a teacher is a life-long learner. I know now that there is still a lot about my profession and its surroundings.
I enjoy singing gospel songs and I am blessed by it. My church denomination is Zion. I was born in the family of eight, five girls, three boys. We formed a family singing group as a result I love singing. I also enjoy listening to good music. I go to gym at least five times in a week. I let my time pass by reading current affairs. I also do a lot of reading on my way to work, because I use train and it takes two hours from vereeniging to Benoni.

It is not easy studing and working at the same time. One of them sometimes suffers and most of the time it is work that suffers.
DeleteTo top it all, I am travelling by train and most of the time is wasted on the way to work and back. I wake up at 3am to catch the train at 4h50 only to arrive at work at 7h30, if the train did not have any power failure.
My manager has a problem of releasing me before knock off time so as to reach the class on time.
Sometime I dont sleep at all, I work arround the clock to meet the dead line of assignment submission.
I leave with my partner who refuses to neither cook nor buy instant meal. We sometime go to sleep without any meals, that is if I did not manage to buy something on the way home.
I thank my classmates who always remind me of the tasks to be done and the submission date. I am also in need of the tips. I think one of things I am going to do is to get online teaching up and running in my school because all the support material is available and ready. I will have to face the stumbling block that stifles the opperation of computers at school. If computer are in opperation I will be killing two birds with one stone. Whilst teaching learners I will also be getting a practice.
